Operational Benefits of Fast Charging, Ultra High Power Battery Technology in Europe

Mr. Taha Ali, an Engagement Manager with Boston Strategies International, will speak on the Operational Benefits of Fast Charging, Ultra High Power Battery Technology in five applications in Europe: mining trucks, transit buses, port and airport tractors, ferries, and forklifts. The study will compare the performance and the cost of equipment powered by ultra fast-charging, high-power batteries based on niobium anode technology, with equipment running on popular battery chemistries today, such as lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium-titanium-oxide (LTO). The study considered the impact of fast-charging power technology on optimal operational factors such as fleet size, hours of operation, payload capacity, and equipment replacement cycles.
