Ms. Xinyang Jiang, an Engagement Manager with Boston Strategies International, will speak on the Operational Benefits of Fast Charging, Ultra High Power Battery Technology in five applications in China: mining trucks, transit buses, port and airport tractors, ferries, and forklifts. The study will compare the performance and the cost of equipment powered by ultra fast-charging, high-power batteries based on niobium anode technology, with equipment running on popular battery chemistries today, such as lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium-titanium-oxide (LTO). The study considered the impact of fast-charging power technology on optimal operational factors such as fleet size, hours of operation, payload capacity, and equipment replacement cycles.
