Artificial Intelligence in Supply Management

May 2, 2021 @ 10:30 pm - May 3, 2021 @ 7:30 am UTC-4

It’s widely believed that artificial intelligence (AI) will displace jobs, but building supplier networks will create exciting jobs in algorithm development, hub network architecture design, communication standards engineering, and smart contract programming, especially in the early stages. In this session participants will learn 1) how to distinguish between digitalization and AI, 2) how AI can improve supplier management; and 3) how to set a realistic vision for implementing AI, and 4) how to upskill staff into the new jobs. David Steven Jacoby will be presenting with Dr. Francois Charvet, Executive Director of the Masters of Science in Business Analytics program at Boston University.
